End of an era on the Flats with Paul Johnson's resignation (plus social media reaction)

          The speculation went back and forth throughout the season, from a 1-3 start that included losses to South Florida and Pitt to a four-game win streak and 6-1 run, and then after a 45-21 loss at Georgia.

          Paul Johnson never hinted as to whether this would be his last one at Georgia Tech, and that speculation figured heā€™d be more likely to go out on a high note. That will have to be one game, Georgia Techā€™s bowl game, rather than a good season, Johnson announcing his retirement Wednesday.
