          Destanee Wright led the way for the Indians with 23, passing 1,000 for her career in the process. Europe Brown added 19.

Monticello 57, Jones County 48

          Maddison Abbott scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half to lead Monticello, which trailed 30-22 at halftime. Ty Richardson led Jones County – which struggled through a six-point third quarter - with 11 points – nine on 3-pointers - while Jasmine Greene added 10.

          William Freeman topped the Braves with 23 points, while Justin Webb had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Jermyus Simmons adding 12 points.

          The Greyhounds took control early with a 15-3 first quarter, and kept it going. Chavis Mathis had 16 points and nine rebounds, plus a block, to pace the 2-0 Greyhounds. Tre Dean added 14 points and Chuck Pitts 10. Manny Lewis chipped in five rebounds and Kaleb Taylor three blocks as the Greyhounds shot 50 percent from the floor.
