The Monday Evening Quarterback has been renamed the Tuesday Morning Quarterback. Also Tuesday, belatedly, a ranking of Central Georgia’s GHSA and GISA teams, one poll, for the regular season.

Macon TD Club honors pair from Westside

          The Macon Touchdown Club has picked two Westside players for weekly honors.

          Quarterback Victor Dixon was 10 of 27 for 207 yards and two scores in the Seminoles’ 32-18 win over Cook for back honors.

          Linebacker Jayland Parker is the lineman after getting 10 tackles and two fumble recoveries.

 

Rookie of the Year goes to …

          The Brave. And Ronald Acuna won the rookie of the year award going away.

          A number of Central Georgia players participated in the Georgia Dugout Club’s all-state game at LaGrange: Mary Persons infielder Destiny Middleton (a North Carolina commit), GMC shortstop Cade Bass, West Laurens utility Kendall Morton (Louisiana-Monroe), and Monticello third baseman Mia Jenkins (Troy). …
