Class 6A
No. 9 Houston County 42, No. 11 North Atlanta 32
The Bears (9-2) got on top immediately, Jordan Smith picking off a North Atlanta pass and then Antwann Hill throwing 29-yards to Ricky Johnson for a lead 49 seconds into the game. Houston County answered a field goal with some long runs and then took advantage of a fourth-down defensive penalty for a short Christian Stokes run and a 14-3 lead with four minutes left in the first. It was 21-10 at halftime, and North Atlanta got within four for about two minutes in the third, Hill connecting with Johnson for a 62-yard score and an 11-point lead. A score and conversion pulled the hosts within 28-25 early in the fourth, but a long pass from Hill to Kale Woodburn put the Bears up by 10. Johnson caught four passes for 128 yards and four scores.
No. 8 Marist 38, Northside 21
The heavy underdogs (4-7)stayed competitive on the road, after going down 28-0. Northside scored late in the second quarter on Jayden Wrifghtās 10-yard pass to Daylen Kendrick, and scored twice after giving up 10 more points, on a long TD catch from Keron Milton and then 6-yard run from E.J. Riley. The Eagles outgained Marist 385-366 and ran 18 more plays. Wright was 15 of 28 for a score but four INTs, and 138 yards, 105 yards going to Milton. Marist ran 37 times for 259 yards and three scores.
Class 5A
No. 8 Warner Robins 48, McIntosh 15
The Demons had little trouble, marching out to a 20-7 first-quarter lead on touchdowns passes from Judd Anderson to Isiah Canion (45 and 39 yards) and and Jah Avliezā run. Cam Flowersā 28-yard catch-and-run and another Avilez score made it 34-7, McIntosh scoring late to pull within 34-15 at halftime. Warner Robins (8-3) sealed in on Chase Reeseās fourth-down 1-yard score late in the third.
Jones County 42, Northside-Columbus 21
The Greyhounds (8-3) ran away with it, although not by as much as they planned. Jones County was up 42-7 at halftime only for the visitors to show some spark with two third-quarter touchdowns and keep the Greyhounds scoreless in the second half. Devin Edmonds sizzled, completing 15 of 18 for 302 yards and 5 TDs, Zion Ragins leading the run game with 131 yards and a TD on only four carries. Tyler Stewart went off again, with six catches, 161 yards, and 3 TDs, Jaivon Solomon adding three catches and 89 yards.
Class 3A
No. 3 Mary Persons 35, Long County 19
Early on, Long County was having a nice time, leading 8-7 early, undaunted by Duke Watsonās TD run of nearly 80 yards in the first minute. A big pass from Mac Nelson to Ty Dumas set up Watsonās short score for the lead. Another big pass put the Bulldogs (10-1) in position for another Nelson TD pass and a 21-8 lead, Long County cutting into it in the final minute to make it 21-16 at halftime. A field goal pulled Long County within two in the third quarter, Nelson connecting with Seth Davis for a 38-yard score in the final minute of the third. Nelson finished the scoring with a short run about three minutes into the fourth quarter.
No. 5 Savannah Christian 48, Peach County 46, 4 OT
The hosts couldnāt quite put the visitors away, even up 20-0 at halftime. The Trojans (4-7) scored early in the third on DJ Hudsonās 23-yard pass to Dylan Johnson, and got within a score early in the fourth on Dwayne Colemanās run. Sparked by a defense hold SC down, the Trojans tied it with 1:54 left on another Hudson-to-Johnson hookup. Savannah Christian had a touchdown in the last half-minute erased by offensive pass interference. Peach County scored in overtime on Hudsonās 15-yard run and 15-yard pass to Caiden Ivory, then two more TD passes. Savannah Christian went up 46-40 and ran in the conversion, then stopped Peach County on its two-point try for the win.
Upson-Lee 46, Savannah Country Day 45
One of the more disappointing losses in Upson-Lee history became perhaps the biggest win in Upson-Lee history, the 9-2 Knights overcoming a three-score fourth-quarter deficit. SCD went up 38-22 late in the third and 45-22 early in the fourth. Then the comeback began. Niko Wells went in from 6 at the 9:45 mark of the fourth, hitting Bentavious Reviere with the conversion. The Knights converted Michael Fosterās forced fumble into a Wells TD pass to Jeremiah Searcy and then conversion pass to Emarion Harp, and it was a 7-point game with 5:28 left. The defense bowed up and, combined with a few penalties, got the ball back near midfield with just under three minutes left. JaāQuan Bentley went in from the 6 with 1:49 to go, and the Knights pulled out a trick play for the conversion, a throw-back pass to center Campbell Hinson for Upson-Leeās first lead since 14-0 early in the second quarter. Foster came up big again with a game-sealing interception.

Brooks County 56, Crawford County 0
No. 3 T Bleckley County 56, Claxton 7
There was no overlooking a weak opponent for the 9-2 Royals, who took care of all of their scoring in the first half, neither team scoring in an speedy second half. Joshua Stanley scored three first-quarter touchdowns, Kam Everett adding one. Stanley, Amarian Burns, Deondrez Robertson scored on offense in the second quarter, Markeze Brown adding a long pick-6. Stanley gained 60 yards on his touchdowns alone.

No. 2 Commerce 58, Jasper County 19
Jasper County (5-6) was within 14-7 after one, but Commerce took control en route to a 38-7 halftime lead.
No. 6 Dublin 49, Screven County 0
There was little suspense in the rematch of the 2002 state title game, the 9-2 Irish scoring three touchdowns in the first and second quarters. Micah OāNeal went in from 22 and 21, and Kameron Hampton from 34 and 50, DeāMari Foster adding a 12-yard score and Willie Batts going in from the 2. Xavier Bostic added the icing with a 75-yard score midway through the third quarter. Dublin needed only 35 plays to gain 419 yards, 388 on the ground. Bosticwent for 130 on six carries, Hampton for 105 on five. Dublinās defense held Screven County to 106 yards in total offense.
No. 9 Lamar County 38, Bacon County 13
Short scoring runs by Qua Hughley and Ty head plus Caleb Millerās 38-yard field goal put the 9-2 Trojans up 17-0 at halftime. Kenya Barnes returned a punt 56 yards for a score midway through the third quarter before Bacon County broke the shutout. JahāNizae Few added a 68-yard interception return early in the fourth to seal it.
Class A Division II
No. 4 Bowdon 49, Taylor County 0
Early County 42, Hawkinsville 20
Two even teams were tied at 14 at halftime, the Red Devils overcoming a two-score deficit. Early County regained the lead about three minutes into the third and doubled up Hawkinsville (6-5) with a touchdown on its next possession. The Red Devils got back within eight a few minutes into the fourth, but the points stopped there.

Lincoln County 42, Wilkinson County 0
The hosts (5-5) were never in it, trailing 28-0 after one and 35-0 at halftime.
No. 5 Macon County 30, Christian Heritage 7
The Bulldogsā 13-point second quarter put them in charge, and they kept the hosts scoreless the final three quarters. Macon County (9-2) rushed for four touchdowns and added a field goal.

Class AAAA
No. 9 Strong Rock 21, No. 8 Stratford 12
The host Eagles trailed 7-6 at halftime, scoring on a muffed punt but watching the PAT kick get blocked. Strong Rock took a two-score lead early in the fourth when it returned a blocked field goal try about 80 yards. Stratford (5-6) moved downfield quickly to score and pull within 14-12 with 1:26 left, missing its second conversion try.
No. 7 George Walton 35, No. 10 Westfield 7
George Walton turned a 7-7 halftime game into a romp with two third-quarter scores and another one inside the first minute of the fourth quarter.

No. 8 Piedmont 37, No. 9 Trinity Christian 0
The Cougars rolled to a 28-0 lead on two rushing and two passing touchdowns.
