Thursday's Braves Report: Tough home loss

Cubs have just a hair more than the Braves

          Tommy LaStella’s pinch-hit homer led the Chicago Cubs past Atlanta 5-4.

          La Stella got his 20th pinch hit of the season, tying a team record. The three-run shot came after Atlanta took the lead with a three-run fifth.

          Freddie Freeman had three RBI, and Mike Foltynewicz gave up five runs and six hits in six innings.
