Houston County 8, Warner Robins 0
Lauren Ross threw a five-inning two-hitter, the offense sparked by two doubles from De’Jah Dunn, who had two RBI, as did Alice Thomas, Jamie Benda, and Averi Martin.
Jones County 14, Veterans 4
The Greyhounds got all they needed in the first to win and in the second to make it a five-inning game. Veterans couldn’t convert nine hits into enough runs, and had three errors, one more than Jones County. Brenay Howard led Jones County with three hits and four RBI.
Rutland 1, ACE 0
Rutland got a run in the first and held on. Rutland’s Taylor Stewart and ACE’s Mary Elizabeth Ballard went the distance, Stewart with a seven-hitter and Ballard giving up 10 hits. Keely Bryant had three hits for Rutland, winner of its third straight.
Schley County 10, Mount de Sales 2
Tattnall 15, Stratford 10
There was nothing but action, including at the end, when Tattnall scored five in the top of the seventh and Stratford scored twice. The Trojans survived four errors, thanks to a 4-for-4 day from Kenna Epps. She drove in four runs, while Logan Oller and Haily Daughtry drove in three each, and Courtney Ball had a three-hit game. Daughtry belted a three-run homer in the seventh. Autumn Land and Mary Elaine Mitchell had three hits each for the Eagles.
