Sunday's Braves Report
Braves finally get the best of the Orioles
Ozzie Albies a sparkplug as Atlanta beats Baltimore 7-3 to prevent a series sweep.
An announced crowd of nearly 34,000 watched five pitchers, led by starter Brandon McCarthy, keep the Orioles in check.
Albies, hitting second in the order, went 3-for-4 with 2 runs, while Nick Markakis and Johan Camargo added two hits each. Baltimore pitchers did, though, strike out eight Braves.

Minter and Winkler will share the closing duties while Viz is on the DL. Minter has pitched on consecutive days six times in his professional career. He has allowed a run during two of the five occasions he has pitched a second straight day this year./MB
Brian Snitker: "I personally think we're at our best if (Inciarte's) leading off and doing what he's capable of doing."/GB
The Braves gained a 5-1 third inning lead courtesy of the two-run double delivered by Culberson, who has hit .313 (32-for-102) and compiled a .529 slugging percentage since going 3-for-27 before the start of May./MB
Trumbo's two-run shot was the eighth homer McCarthy has allowed over his past 26.2 IP, dating back to May 28. His 1.72 HR/9IP ratio would have ranked as the NL's third-highest entering today, sitting ahead of only Luis Castillo's (1.94) and Chase Anderson's (1.75)./MB
This can't be said enough: Braves need to wear these unis more often./GB
