Savannah enjoys another game with Macon
Savannah and Macon were rolling along in an action-filled two-run game, and along came the seventh inning.
The Bananas put five runs on the board en route to an 11-4 win at Luther Williams Field.
Savannah has beaten Macon 15-0, 10-3, 2-1, and 11-4, after the Bacon won the first meeting 10-6.
The Bananas scored the five on walk, fielder’s choice, double, single, steal, walk, steal of home, single, groundout, and triple.
Tanner Wetrich and Jackson Jones had two hits each for Macon, Jones driving in two runs.
Macon visits Lexington County on Sunday and Florence on Tuesday, with Savannah coming back to town on Wednesday at noon.
