Career of former Washington County standout AJ Gray is over
AJ Gray was one of the top high school athletes in Central Georgia of the past few decades, at Washington County.
But after three college football seasons at Georgia Tech, his career is over.

College Basketball: Mercer men add assistant
Paul Mrozik has joined the Mercer men's basketball staff, replacing Jason Eaker, who recently got the head coaching job at Oklahoma Baptist, alma mater of Bears boss Bob Hoffman.
Mercer assistant Dale Layer was Mrozik's head coach when both were at Liberty, Mrozik as a G.A. at the time.
He has coach on the pro level in Europe, and comes from Cal Poly, where he was associate head coach.
College Softball: Georgia College gets its postseason news; three other state teams do, too
Georgia College will travel to Hickory, N.C. for the NCAA Division II Southeast Region II softball tournament this week.
The Bobcats (36-14) are a three seed and face sixth-seed Carson-Newman (32-19) in the four-team gathering. Lenoir-Rhyne and Young Harris are the other two teams.
First pitch Thursday is 2 p.m.
Gulf South champ Valdosta State (and Central Georgian Avery Lamb of Veterans), Albany State (and Demeshia Russell/Upson-Lee, Mikiyah Harris/Bleckley County, and Caitlyn Gooch/Dodge County), and North Georgia also made the national tournament.
College Tennis: Middle Georgia State teams get national bids
Middle Georgia State is among the 24 men's and 24 women's teams to compete in the NAIA national tournament.
Both are making their second trip. The men are ranked 13th and the women 14th.
Seeds will be announced later in the week and the tournament starts May 15.
College Baseball: Tech, Georgia to try again at SunTrust
Weather changed their plans a few weeks ago, but that shouldn't be a problem for Georgia and Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
