          The Braves were no-hit at home, getting whiffed 13 times and managing 2 walks.

East Laurens 5, Treutlen 4

          The Falcons survived a 4-run fourth for the win. Seth Newsome, Gavin Donaldson, and Cuyler Morris had 2 hits each for the Falcons, Donaldson driving in 2 runs.

Fitzgerald 6, Bleckley County 1

          The Royals were held scoreless until the final inning, Fitzgerald getting 3 in the third and holding Bleckley County to 6 hits, 2 from Spencer Brown.

Gatewood 7, Trinity Christian 6

          The Gators scored 3 in tbe bottom of the seventh to win, TCS putting up 6 runs on 3 hits, none for extra bases. Tony Rudolph went 3-for-3 for Gatewood.

Jones County 7, Union Grove 5, 10 inn.

          The Greyhounds scored 2 in the top of the 10th on a Jackson Mix single, Colby Gordon double, and 2-run single by Brandin Johnson. Gordon had 3 hits, with Mix, Johnson, and Teldrick Ross 2 each. Johnson drove in 3 runs. Reliever Hunter Pierce gave up a single in the 10th, but that was it.

Peach County 9, Westside 3

          Both teams had 4 errors, but Peach County had control despite stranding 10 runners. Simon Grnat and Britt Davis had 3 hits each for the Trojans, Grant and Jake Wingo driving in 3 runs each. Victor Burnett and Curtis Patterson had 2 hits each for the Seminoles.

          The Vikings got 3 goals from Elizabeth Nelson and Jansyn Samples, and 1 each from Karsten Herron, Maggie Davis, Anna Lako, and Molly Lee.

          The Bulldogs improved to 16-2 overall and 6-1 in area competition, led by Aaron Kirkland's goals and 2 assists.

          The Huskies now prepare to face Columbus next week in the playoffs.

          The Bears (22-7) celebrated senior night in style, putting 13 runs across in the second inning of a 2.5-inning game. Chandler Ring drove in 4 runs on 2 hits and Logan Morris 3 on 2. Ring struck out 6 in a 3-inning 1-hitter.

Mary Persons 9, Upson-Lee 8

          Both teams scored 3 in the seventh, but Mary Persons had 1 more run going in and survived having a runner on second with one out in the bottom half. Camden Claxton finished the complete game with a pair of strikeouts. Cam Agnew went 3-for-5 and Aaron Mock drove in 4 runs on 2 hits. Jerry Andrews and Trippe Moore also had 2-hit games for the Bulldogs. Chance Gamble had 3 hits and Joshua Keeter drove in 3 runs on 2 hits for the Knights.

Spalding 9, Perry 8

          Perry took the lead with 6 in the top of the sixth, but Spalding returned the favor with 2 in the bottom half and held on, surviving a pair of one-out walks in the top of the seventh. Jacob Hunt had 4 RBI for Perry in a 4-for-4 game, Jackson Nipper going 3-for-3. Seth Creamer and Clayton Davis had 2 hits each.

Stratford 5, Aquinas 4

Tattnall 3, FPD 2

          FPD was outhit by double and pushed the game into extra innings, but Luke Laskey followed a one-out set of walks - two intentional - with a grounder that was mishandled, allowing courtesy runner Kaden Toth to come in from third with the walk-off game-winner. Logan Fink had 2 of Tattnall's hits, with Luke Laskey and Brooks Gorman teaming for 10 Ks and 5 BBs in the 3-hitter. Stratford is at Tattnall at 7 p.m. on Friday for the region title.

West Laurens 4, Howard 0

          The Raiders got enough with 2 in the second as Nolan Daniel went 6 innings with 9 Ks on a 3-hitter, teaming with Wade Brantley. Beau Mullis had 2 hits for the Raiders, who clinched the region title.

Wilkinson County 7, Baldwin 4

          Dre Pitts led the Warriors with a 2-for-2 day, while Justin Malone drove in 2 runs, and Ardonnish Adside fanned 7 in 5 innings. Nathan Rouse had 2 hits for Baldwin.

          Peyton Massengale threw a 4-inning perfect game in the Eagles' rout, aided by 8 Briarwood errors. Jay Musselwhite had 4 RBI, with Massengale and Denver Pingley driving in 3 each. McKinley Newton had 3 hits, with Pingley, Chase Everett, and Hart Williford adding 2 each. Massengale struck out 8.

CFCA 8, ACE 6

Coffee 6, Northside 3

          A 5-run sixth put Coffee on the board and on top, Northside taking a 3-0 lead in the second. Austin Mathews had 2 hits for the Eagles.
Dodge County 2, Bleckley County 1, 9 inn.

          A courtesy runner came in on Andrew Lowery's double with the 2-out game-winner for the 22-4 Indians. Lowery and Gary Pittman each had 2 hits for Dodge County. The pitchers dazzled, Carter Raffield with 11 Ks and 1 BB in 7 innings, and Tyler Pruett with 9 Ks and 2 BBs in going the distance for Dodge County.

East Laurens 5, Washington 0

          The Falcons eased away with 4 in the fifth as Alex Muns, Gavin Donaldson, and Ryan Mimbs teamed for 10 Ks and a no-hitter. Muns, Donaldson, Mimbs, Cam Oliver and Chase Oliver had 2 hits each, Muns 2 RBI.

FPD 13, GMC 0

          The Vikings won the Region 7-A tournament opener and play Tattnall on Wednesday. FPD scored 10 in the fifth. Dalton Cox went 4-for-4 with 2 runs and 3 RBI and Gavin Bloodworth went 3-for-3 with 4 runs. Tyler Mimbs had 3 RBI and Tate Skipper 2, and Garrett West and Harrison Aulds had 2 hits and 2 RBI each. Noah Takac struck out 8 and walked 1 in the 1-hitter.

John Milledge 3, Piedmont 1

          The hosts put 3 across in the first in the pitchers dual. JMA's Jared Prestwood gave up a hit in 5 innings with 6Ks and 4 BBs, Dustin Hostetter getting the save.

          The Trojans were outhit 4-1, but pieced together the lone run int he third, Jared Prestwood driving in Tyler Bass, who had walked, with the run. Colton Brewer, Dustin Hostetter, and Caleb Rogers handled the pitching for JMA.

          James Fridy had 3 hits and 3 RBI for Covenant.

          The Trojans made it a 4.5-inning game with 5 in the third, aided by 6 Westside errors. Britt Davis went 3-for-3, with 2-for-3 nights from Eric Johnson, Brody Harrelson, and Savannah Osborn. Davis whiffed 13 in the 3-hitter.

Pike County 11, Central 1

Stratford 13, Washington-Wilkes 3

          Charlie Giles led the Eagles' offensive display with a 3-for-4 game and 3 runs, while Trey Giles drove in 3 runs on 2 hits. Clifton Olmstead got the win as Stratford improved to 18-7 with the 7-A tourney win.

Taylor County 16, Dooly County 0

          The Vikings put two touchdowns on the board in the first inning of three. Ezra Cummings, Carter Albritton, Gunnar Watson, Connor Tharpe each had 2 hits, with Albritton, Watson, and Diego Paz driving in 3 runs, Tharpe 2. Evan Hinton fanned 4 in the 3-inning no-hitter.

Tattnall 17, Glascock County 0

          The Trojans had business taken care of with 10 in the first and 7 in the second, needing just 8 hits while Logan Fink threw a 3-inning no-hitter. Luke Laskey had 5 RBI, Austin Marchman 3 and Brooks Gorman 2. Marchman and Laskey went 2-for-3 in the Region 7-A tourney.

Union Grove 10, Jones County 4

          The Greyhounds trailed only 5-4 after 2, but gave up 2 in the third and then 3 in the final 2 innings, hurting the cause with 5 errors.

Westfield 5, Gatewood 3

          The Hornets score 3 in the top of the seventh for the win. Tee Adams drove in a run with a double and Hunter Spence followed a wild pitch that allowed runners to advance with a 2-run single. Adams had 3 hits and 2 RBI, Spence 2 RBI, and Travis McDonald and Michael Fitzpatrick 2 hits each for the Hornets. Coop Hall and Will Dutton went 2-for-2 for Gatewood.

          The Trojans put up all 3 in the first inning of the pitchers dual, and survived 3 errors, aided by 9 walks. Piedmont fanned 9 batters, while Jared Prestwood struck out 6 and walked 4 in 5 innings for JMA.

          John Micah Law struck out 13 with no walks in the complete-game win, boosted by a 2-for-2 game from Seth Creamer and 2 RBI from Jacob Hunt.

Upson-Lee 4, Mary Persons 3

          Alex Blount reached on a one-out single, advanced to third and scored the game-winner in the top of the 11th on Turner Maddox's grounder that was booted. Mary Persons opened the bottom half by reaching on an error, but Trace Park then retired the side in order for the win. Chance Gamble, Logan Spivey, and Blount each had 2 hits for Upson-Lee, while Christian Knight and Ladondre Buckner had 2 hits apiece for Mary Persons.

West Laurens 12, Howard 1

          The Raiders won their third straight region title, sparked by 11 runs in the first two innings and getting an 8-strikeout, 1-walk 4-inning start from AJ Mathis. Sam Riner and Guy Anderberg drove in 3 runs each, Anderberg joining Nolan Daniel and Jacob Floyd with 2-hit games. Scott Campbell had 2 of Howard's 3 hits.

Windsor 7, Gatewood 3

          The Knights scored 3 in the first to take control. Brayden Hill and Coop Hall had 2 hits for Gatewood.
