          Carter Raffield's 3-run homer in the fifth was the difference-maker for the Royals. Brody Little, Sam Knighton, and Andrew Butler had a pair of hits each for the Royals.

FPD 4, Westfield 2

          Dalton Cox opened the ninth with a double, and scored on Tyler Mimbs' sacrifice fly for the lead, and Ryan Jones added a run on Garrett West's fly for the Vikings.

Jones County 3, Hampton 0

          Dawson Barnes threw a 1-hitter with 4 Ks and 2 BBs as Jones County used small ball - 6 singles and a Teldrick Ross double - to get past Hampton.

Lee County 13, Northside 1

Piedmont 9, John Milledge 3

          Piedmont scored 5 in the first to gain control, the Trojans being held to 4 hits.

Stratford 6, GMC 0; Stratford 6, GMC 1

          A 4-run fifth sparked Stratford in the opener, the Eagles getting 2-hit games from Andrew Palmer and Trey Giles. Clifton Olmstead and Hall Buice teamed for a 2-hitter, Olmstead striking out 9. The Eagles' offense got going late in the second game with 5 runs in the final 2 innings. Giles and Jamie O'Quinn had 2 hits each, while Justin Alford had half of GMC's hits. Sammy Martin went the distance and struck out 11.

Tattnall 14, Camden County 1

          The top-ranked Trojans got what they needed with 3 in the first. Logan Simmons and Austin Marchman went 3-for-4, Simmons getting 3 RBI and 3 runs and Marchman 3 runs, while Miles Morris went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs. Logan Fink added 2 hits and 3 runs. Luke Laskey went all 5, whiffing 10 with 1 walk.

          The Royals rolled, behind 3-RBI games from Jack Fernandez and Carter Raffield, and 2-hit efforts from Chandler Abney, Raffield, and Noah Wimberly. Cameron Thompson threw a 5-inning 3 hitter.

GMC 6, Baldwin 3

          The Bulldogs took the crosstown rivalry, thanks to a 4-run first inning on

3 singles, an error, a passed ball, and a sac fly. Cory Bivins has 2 hits and Mason Seymour 2 RBI for GMC, while Victor Hill had 3 hits for Baldwin. Jontavious Byner fanned 4 and walked 1 for the complete-game win.

Jones County 11, Hampton 1

          The Greyhounds eliminated the suspense with 6 runs in the third. Ty Gordon and Seth Daniels had 2 hits apiece for Jones County, which got 2 RBI from Jackson Mix. Both teams had 3 errors, but Hampton pitching walked 11 batters. Hunter Pierce went the distance, with 7 Ks and 1 walk.

Mary Persons 4, Spalding 3

          The Bulldogs got a 2-RBI game from Ledondre Buckner, and 7 hits from 7 batters. Trippe Moore struck out 9 and walked 1.

West Laurens 2, Upson-Lee 1

          The Raiders got the game-winner in the fifth on an error and two sacrifices, an RBI fly coming from Beau Mullis. Upson-Lee stranded 7.

          Sam Knighton led the Royals with 4 RBI on 3 hits, 2 for extra bases. Bleckley County put 5 up in the fifth and 6 in the seventh. Knighton threw 4 shutout, 2-hit innings. Chandler Abney added a 3-for-3 day with 2 runs and 2 RBI, Noah Wimberly chipping in 2 hits.

Dodge County 12, Dublin 2

          Three in the first were all the Indians need, thanks to Dublin stranding 7 runners. Gary Pittman, Chip Burch, and Parker Dixon had 2 hits each for Dodge County, while Chandler Davis drove in 5 runs, 3 on a fourth-innng homer. Torian Holder went 3-for-3 for Dublin, Zion Washington adding 2 hits.

Gatewood 6, John Milledge 3

          A 4-run third paced the Gators, who were outhit 13-8. Brayden Hill, Tony Rudolph, and Drew Haley had 2 hits each for Gatewood. Tyler Bass went 4-for-4 for John Milledge.

Piedmont 1, Brentwood 0

          Chase Porter drove in Tate Marks with the game-winner in the first on a short grounder. Porter had half of Piedmont's hits.

Perry 3, Howard 2; Perry 7, Howard 5

          The Panthers got all 3 in the opener in the fifth, two coming on an infielder grounder and an error. John Micah Law had 2 RBI. The Huskies' Tanner Wilson fanned 7 in 6 innings for the win, allowing 5 hits. A 5-run fifth was the key for Perry in the second game, the Panthers surviving 4 errors. Jacob Hunt and Seth Creamer drove in 2 runs each, Creamer and Clayton Davis getting 2 hits each.

Social Circle 4, Monticello 3

          Monticello scored all 3 in the sixth for a comeback, but couldn't get any closer. Tristan Humphreys had a 3-run triple for the Hurricanes. Cody Guidry and Donovan Hudson had 2 hits each for Crawford County, handled by Watson and Evan Hinton on the mound.

Taylor County 8, Crawford County 1

          Gunnar Watson drove in 5 runs on 2 hits, while Ezra Cummings and Jacob Pounds had 2 hits each for the Vikings, who scored 6 in the sixth.

Thomson 12, Baldwin 3

          Lectvious Austin had 3 of Baldwin's 8 hits, the Braves' 7 errors only 2 more than Thomson in a game where 9 runs were unearned.

          Lane Kitchens drove a first-pitch single to bring in courtesy runner Tripp Purser with the walk-off winning run for the Royals, who tied it with 1 in the sixth. Cohen Lee opened the inning with a single to right and was sacrificed to second. Jack Fernandez went 3-for-3 for Bleckley County, Kitchens and Cody Dennis adding 2 hits each. Purser and Kitchens pitched for Bleckley County.

          The Gators used plenty of small ball to win, getting 2-RBI games from Cody Kauffman and Reid Sasser. Walt Jarrett and James Williamson teamed for 8 Ks and 3 BBs for the win.

Harlem 14, Washington County 7

Jones County 7, Locust Grove 6

          Teldrick Ross went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs while Jackson Mix was 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs for the Greyhounds. Locust Grove pulled within 1 with 3 in the seventh, but T Gordon got a grounder to end it with a runner on.

Perry 8, Howard 6

          Perry's 3-run fifth gave the Panthers the lead after Howard's 5-run fifth. Perry had 8 more hits and left 12 runners on, Howard had 8. Starter John Micah Law whiffed 9 and walked 2 in 5.2 innings. Andrew Newhouse's 4-for-5 day led Perry, while Y. Cameron had 2 hits for Howard.

Rutland 15, Westside 2; Rutland 15, Westside 0

          Depending on who's keeping score, Rutland's Aubrey Merritt no-hit the Seminoles in the opener, although Westside's Malcolm Mayfield had 2 RBI. Merritt, who also scored twice, struck out 8 with 3 walks. Merritt had 3 hits, while the Hurricanes got 2-hit games from Riley Jones, Logan Moss (3 RBI), Peyton McKinney (3 RBI), and Jonathan Harnist. Bryce Martin threw a (consensus) 1-hitter in the nightcap, Rutland aided by 6 errors. Merritt had 2 of Rutland's 5 hits, while McKinney and Wesley Key drove in 2 runs each.

Spalding 6, Mary Persons 1

          Mary Persons' JD Richards, Aaron Mock, and Andrews matched Spalding's hit total with 2 hits each, but the Bulldogs stranded 8 runners.

Swainsboro 8, East Laurens 7

          East Laurens doubled up Swainsboro in hits, but 7 walks and 3 errors hurt as Swainsboro scored 4 in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off, coming on an outfield error.

Trinity Christian 5, John Milledge 4

          TCS got all it needed with a 5-run second, JMA cutting it to 1 with 2 in the seventh. David Coleman, Blake Purvis and Connor Outlaw had 2 hits each for Trinity. Tyler Bass went 3-for-4 and Taylor Dixon 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for John Milledge in a game where the teams combined for 7 errors.

Veterans 4, Lee County 1

          Lee County broke the shutout of Cole Hooks and Jayden Chance with a run in the seventh. The pair gave up 8 hits and 3 walks with 5 Ks. Leyton Pinckney had 3 hits and Derek Wylie 2 - including a homer - for the Warhawks, who stranded 7.

West Laurens 10, Upson-Lee 0

          The Raiders' offense took awhile, until the 8-run seventh, to get going. Nolan Daniel struck out 11 with 1 walk in 6 innings for West Laurens. Beau Mullis, A.J. Mathis and Brandon Bruton each had 2 hits and combined for 7 RBIs.
