Central Georgia Tech's await opponent

          Central Georgia Tech will find out around lunchtime Monday who it'll play in the National Junior College Athletic Association tournament.

          The selection show will be streamed on www.njcaatv.com at 12:30 p.m.

          CGTC beat South Georgia Tech 74-52 on Saturday to win the GCAA Region 17 basketball title.

Mark Fox talks to media, battles emotions, hopes successor has better communication with AD

          Former Georgia men's basketball coach Mark Fox met with the media Sunday, a day after he was dismissed.

          He was proud of the program's improvement and reputation, thanked many people, and understood the bottom line. He had an interesting comment about his relationship with AD Greg McGarity.

College Baseball: Kansas State pulls away late from Mercer (no Sunday scoreboard)

          Mercer was in decent shape to take the series finale, trailing only 6-5 after four innings, but Kansas State got some offense going late for a 13-6 win Sunday.

          The Bears had 11 hits and stranded 12 runners.

          Mercer (12-5) hosts Georgia Southern at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
