Batter up: Georgia's Division I baseball teams welcome Opening Day, season previews

          It seems stunning, but Georgia’s Division I college baseball teams will open the season with actual, honest-to-goodness baseball weather.

          The only gloves around will be for hitting and fielding, not for keeping hands warm.

          Mercer gets going at home on Friday night with Bethune-Cookman, and there’s a fair amount of juice surrounding the Bears this year.
