**Less than a mile from Freedom Field.**

Central Georgians who made all-state teams this season and will certainly be candidates the next season or two will be in action in a selection of all-star games in the area and Atlanta

Freedom Field will host the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association tripleheader on Thursday with games for sophomores, junior, and seniors, while the Georgia Elite Classic is at McEachern on Thursday with a game for each academic class.

Henderson Stadium hosts the Georgia Sports Alliance all-star game on Saturday, kickoff 2-1/2 hours ahead of the Rising Seniors game at Mercer’s Five Star Stadium.

Plenty of coaches from Central Georgia teams will be on sidelines.

Area coaches for the South juniors in the GACA game at Freedom Field include Peach County’s Chad Campbell (head coach) and Todd Cooper, Bleckley County’s Von Lassiter and Sean Patrick, Rod Harris of Houston County and Shaun Pope of Putnam County.
