Henley, PGA Tour starting off in a nice spot

The Maconite and Stratford grad is among the final dozen players to tee off Thursday in the The Sentry, a signature event at the Plantation Course in Kapalua Maui, Hawaii.
Henley finished tied for 52nd last year with an 11-under 281, opening with a 69 and finishing with a 68. A week later, he tied for fourth at the Sony Open with a 16-under 264.
Henley’s average finish in his five trips – the tournament was formerly known as the Hyundai Tournament of Champions – is 26th.
The Georgia grad is off a top-5 finish in the FedEx Cup Tour Championship, tying for fourth and taking home $4.8 million. He finished 13th in FedEx points, and 17th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
