Addison Arnold belted a 3-run walkoff homer to lift FPD to 14-2. It was tied at 2 in the top of the sixth. Gracyn Fuller struck out 8 in the complete-game win. Emma Jordan whiffed 12 in taking the loss. Mallie Moughon went 2 for 3 for FPD. Hayden Craddock, Graci Kluge, and Shamiya Raines had 2 hits apiece for Stratford.
Houston County 9, Veterans 1, 5 inn.
The bottom of the lineup boosted the Bears, with Maddie Grace Wall, Kendall Carswell, and Olivia Buffone combining for 5 of the team’s 9 hits, driving in 5 runs and scoring 3 times. Carswell had a 3-run homer in the 7-run fifth inning. A single by Ann Marie DeFore gave Houston County a 2-1 lead through four. Carswell drove in 3 runs on 2 hits. Kinley Snider, Carswell, and Buffone each had 2 hits. Bella Fendley went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI for Veterans.

An 8-run first, including Bailey Gunter’s 2-run triple, pushed the Trojans to the shortened win. They added 7 in the second, on two hit batters, four walks, and a passed ball. Dakota Crowley threw a 3-inning no-hitter, with 8 strikeouts. The second game was a rerun, Gunter with a 3-run triple and Caitlynn Whitaker with a 2-run three-bagger. Lamar County was walked 20 times in the two three-inning games.

Mary Persons 19, Upson-Lee 1, 3 inn.
Sydney Kime had 2 hits, and Ellie McNenamy, Sarah Davis, and Madi Nichols each drove in 2 runs for the Bulldogs, who earned 9 walks to go with five Upson-Lee errors, needing only 8 hits.
Peach County 11, Bainbridge 5
Alyssa Crozier drove in 4 runs on 4 hits, including a 2-run triple, to lead Peach County, including a 2-run triple. Gracie Martin got the win, striking out 8 and walking 3. Martin, Ta'Mori Hollingshed, and Alyssa Smith each had 2 hits, Peach County racking up 9 walks.

Kamryn Fielder went 3 for 4, including a homer in the third inning, to lead Perry, which pulled away with a 9-run third keyed by a homer from Avery Grant as well as Fielder. The Panthers went up 7-4, sparked by Cason Gentry’s 3-run homer. Gentry, Fielder, and Harrell each had 3 RBI, while Rachel Driver, Grant and C Davey had 2 hits for Perry.

An 11-run first put the Cougars in charge after the Cavs scored 1 in the top of the first.Memphis Sweat earned the win, striking out 3. Marissa Holder drove in 3 runs on 2 hits.

Tattnall 12, John Milledge 0
Reese Covington’s 2-run single and Callie Still’s 2-run double keyed a 7-run second inning for Tattnall. Sophie Hicks got the 4-inning win. Callie Still, Covington, Abigayle Baugh, Brianna Logue, Gradie Appling, and Annamary Talcott had 2 hits apiece for Tattnall.
Westfield 10, Brookstone 3
The Hornets put up 5 in the third for 6-2 lead, sparked by Madison Hammock’s 2-run single. Lauren Davidson got the complete-game win. Davidson, Chloe Hill, Riley Nelson, Cate Raines, and Avery Spence each had 2 hits for Westfield.
West Laurens 13, Howard 0, 4 inn.
Chayann Phillips struck out seven in the shortened no-hitter, boosted by 2-hit games from Maggie lord, Jacelyn Hogan, and Jaylee Giles. Hogan scored 3 times and drove in 3 runs. The Raiders sent 9 to the plate in the second, to improve to 12-6 and 9-0 while the Huskies fell to 8-13 and 6-4.
