          Bailey Gunter had 3 hits – including a double and homer - and 4 RBI to lead Lamar County in the opener. Lilly Tavares went 5 innings, striking out 3 for the win. Kylee Kingston and Keelie Smallwood also had 3 hits for the Trojans. Gunter led the way in the nightcap with 5 RBI on 2 hits, with a 3-run homer.

Peach County 17, Island 2, 4 inn.; Savannah Christian 10, Peach County 2, 6 inn.
          Shaniyah Gibson had 3 hits and 5 RBI to lead Peach County in the opener, with a 2-run homer in the first, 2-run double in the second and run-scoring triple in the third. Kaylyn Hornaday added 3 hits.  The Trojans had 6 errors in the nightcap, leading to 4 unearned runs and the first loss of the year.

Tattnall 14, Calvary Christian 12; Tattnall 17, Loganville Christian 2, 3 inn.
          The Trojans took the lead late with 11 runs in their final 3 at-bats, Calvary Christian putting up 2 in the seventh to make it interesting. Gradie Appling, Anna Still, and Callie Still each had 3 hits, the Stills teaming for 6 RBI, Annamary Talcott driving in 4 runs on 2 hits. Appling, Talcott and Callie Still belted homers. Tattnall scored 10 to open the second game. Appling drove in 7 runs on 2 homers and a single, Anna Still with 3 hits and 4 RBI and Abigayle Baugh with a grand slam.

Taylor County 12, Shaw 0, 5 inn.; Spalding 6, Taylor County 5
          The Vikings took control of the opener with 6 in the first. Alyssa Nipper and Sunni Scott had 2  hits each for Taylor County. Spalding won the nightcap with a walk-off in the seventh, aided by 4 Taylor County errors.

Stratford 11, Athens Christian 3; Stratford 15, King’s Academy 0, 3 inn.
          Emma Jordan sat down 14 batters in a 3-inning no-hitter in the opener. Stratford finally put it away with 8 in the sixth, Athens Christian staying alive courtesy of 11 walks earned. Hayden Craddock drove in 4 runs on 3 hits and Taylor Monroe 3 on 2. Cordtney Galoia belted 2 homers and drove in 4 runs in the second-game rout, which started with a 12-run first. Ten Eagles got a hit and eight drove in runs, Jordan with 3 RBI.
