Luther Williams was a home away from home for Asheboro, which got all it needed in the first few minutes en route to all 12 runs in the first 2 innings.

The ZooKeepers outhit the Bacon 13-4, Macon with 2 errors in falling to 14-24. Kaden Galason had half of those hits and scored the lone Macon run.

Alumni Update

Tattnall grad Brown (Georgia Tech) taken in 16th round by Arizona

Brown graduated from Tattnall in 2020. He went 5-1 with a 1.49 ERA as a junior, and 3-1 with a 2.62 ERA as a senior in 2020, a season shortened by COVID-19. The son of Wilkinson County grad, Georgia Tech Hall of Famer, and Macon resident Kevin Brown battling injuries as a junior, and leaves Tech with a 10-4 record, 7.46 ERA, and 9 saves in 78 games. The selection comes a little more than a month after becoming engaged.
