To get folks ready for football, The Central Georgia Sports Report is posting and re-posting last season’s guest speakers’ visits to the Macon Touchdown Club.

One coach won’t be back. Mercer’s Drew Cronic was the 2023 season’s first speaker, but left after the Bears’ FCS playoff season to become offensive coordinator at Navy. His successor, Mike Jacobs, is on the schedule.

Coaches cover all sorts of topics, from their teams, to Central Georgia players on the roster, to everything going on in the world of college football and sports.

Every so often, things get a little more colorful than expected, and speakers range from head coaches, assistants, former coaches, coaches-turned-announcers, former players, regional/national writers, and radio hosts.

Each Monday for the next several week, The Sports Report will post a video from last season. Tentatively, some weeks may include a video from 2022 or 2021.

And for hundreds of videos on Central Georgia sports, from Halls of Fame to interviews and celebration vids and one-on-ones, visit The Central Georgia Sports Report’s Youtube page.
