Around/About Central Georgia

BSB-Georgia College wins season opener

Rough day for Henley

          Three birdies is fairly nice.

Except when they’re countered by four bogeys.

That has Macon’s Russell Henley tied for 64th in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after two rounds.

He started Friday with a bogey, then had a bogey-birdie-bogey end to the front nine, inevitably dropping him 14 spots on a day when he was over par from the start.

Still, he’s only 10 back of leaders Thomas Detry, Ludvig Aberg, and Scott Schefflier.

The tournament is plaed on two courses.
