          The defending state 4A runner-up cruised to the 2-4A tournament title. Kassidy Neal cruised past the 1,000-point mark en route to 22 points, to go with 11 rebounds. Madison Ruff added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Janaye Walker racked up 13 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Brookstone 40, Westfield 36

Central 62, Jordan 16

          It was a suspense-free Region 2-AA semifinal for Central. The Chargers got 18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals from Alaya Grane. Jaz Johnson neared a double-double with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Aniya Dugger added 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals.

Central Fellowship 59, Covenant 28

          The Lancers advance to the final.

Dublin 40, Bleckley County 33

          The Irish take third in 2-A/I.

Dodge County 57, Sumter County 39

          Lyric Green went for 20 for second-seeded Dodge County in the 1-AA championship, Paige Ingram adding 11, and Aubreeana Coney 10.

FPD 49, John Milledge 40

          The Vikings hung on for the GIAA 6-AAA title, improving to 24-3.

Glascock County 59, Wilkinson County 27

          The host Warriors will play Twiggs County Saturday at 4 for third in 5-A/II.

Macon County 43, Schley County 39

          The Bulldogs take third in 7-A/II.

Mary Persons 33, Peach County 31

          The Trojans take the 2-3A championship.

          The Raiders go into the state tournament as a fourth seed in 4A.

          The Patriots face Jordan for third in 2-AA.

          The hosts and defending state champs nipped their rival for the GIAA 6-AAA championship.

Swainsboro 54, East Laurens 27

          The second-seeded Falcons take second in 2-A/I.

Tattnall 49, Stratford 18

          The Trojans get third in GIAA 6-AAA.

Taylor County 55, Chattahoochee County 50

The top-seeded Vikings win the 6-A/II title.

Thomson 43, Washington County 36

          WACO takes fourth in 4-AA.

Tift County 51, Veterans 47

          The Warhawks take second in 1-6A. Nariah Nelson led Veterans with 18 points, Desteyn Seaton adding 14 and Gabby Minus 12.

Trinity Christian 70, Windsor 32

          The Crusaders take first in GIAA 6-AA.

Upson-Lee 64, Pike County 32

          The Knights enter the state tournament as a third seed.

          The Braves followed up the regular-season title with the 2-4A tournament trophy.

Bleckley County 50, Dublin 47

          The Royals take third in 2-A/1.

Central Fellowship 85, Covenant 36

CFCA cruised into the final, led by a monster 32-point night from Trey Bradley in three quarters. Carl Williams and Knox Walls added 12 points each. Ben McGhee had 12 and Blake Bartow 11 fro the Rams.

Gatewood 89, Brentwood 59

Griffin 63, Westside 53

          The Seminoles enter the playoffs a fourth seed.

Hancock Central 66, Wilkinson County 57

          The Bulldogs move on to the championship, while the Warriors play for third.

Jasper County 51, Oglethorpe County 41

          Randy Williams’ 15 points led the Purple Hurricanes to the 5-A/I title, guard Kemarion Thomas adding 11.

John Milledge 53, Mount de Sales 52

          Jalan Butts put the Trojans on top for good in the final minute, and John Milledge got a last-second shot block to take third in GIAA 6-AAA.

Lee County 45, Houston County 44

          The Bears battled in the 1-6A final. Malik Gillespie had 14 points and Kameron Plummer 10 for Houston County.

Memorial Day 83, Twiggs 31

Peach County 66, Upson-Lee 55

          The Trojans of first-year head coach and alum Steve Cherry surprised favored Upson-Lee for the 2-3A championship.

Southwest 56, Rutland 49

          The Patriots advanced to the 2-AA finale against top seed and host Spencer, while the Hurricanes face Central for third.

Spencer 59, Central 55, OT

          The Chargers will take on Rutland for third place.

Sumter County 50, Dodge County 48

          The third-seeded Panthers nipped the top seed, which got 16 from Jaedon McClendon and 13 from William Jordan, for the 1-AA title. Dodge County is 21-4.

Swainsboro 49, East Laurens 47

          The top-seeded Falcons settled for second in 2-A/I after the heartbreaker.
