          Two Central Georgia teams and scores of competitors returned home Saturday night with hardware after the GIAA state track meet concluded at Strong Rock.

          Results were posted late Saturday night, and updated Sunday.

          No team results, however, have been posted by the GIAA, as of 1 a.m. Monday. According to social media posts, Brentwood’s girls won the AA state title for the third year in a row, with Trinity Christian of Dublin winning the boys title, ahead of second-place Gatewood.

          Trinity Christian’s boys won two relays, and got two firsts from Hunter Lann and one from Jack Polhill.

          CFCA’s Kellen Andrews, Brentwood’s Wells Muller, and Fullington’s Aidan Price also took first places.

          Trinity Christian’s Laney Ray and Gatewood’s Madison Hevesy each had two first-place finishes.

          Brentwood’s girls won two relays, with individual winners Jacey Clark and Anne Marie Sheppard.

          Mount de Sales’ girls had four state champions: Katelyn Perazzola, Jai Dudley, and Jordan Kelly, as well as the 4x100 relay team.

          Tattnall’s boys won the Class AAA 4x100 relay. Stratford’s Keondre Glover took the triple jump.
