The Bulldogs took a 3-0 first-half lead and maintained to reach their third GHSA state final in five years. Levi Ward scored twice and Brian Sherwood once. GMC is the lone Central Georgia boys or girls team to have reach semifinals. The Bulldogs will play Christian Heritage on Tuesday at McEachern High in the championship.
