Central Georgia teams set for GHSA flag football playoffs
Seven teams from Central Georgia are playing on in the GHSA flag football playoffs.
They’ll all be rested. The postseason doesn’t start until Dec. 4, with sites hosting two first-round games and a second round game between winners. The next rounds are on Dec. 7, with the championships on Dec. 12.
Westside is the lone Central Georgia host.
The pairings: Division II (5A-6A) - Morrow vs. Houston County, at Whitewater; Warner Robins vs. Mt. Zion-Jonesboro, at McDonough; Perry at Jonesboro; Mary Persons vs. East Coweta, at Westside; Riverdale at Westside.
Westside plays Riverdale on Monday at 4 p.m., followed by East Coweta-Mary Persons, with the winners after that.
Division I (A-4A) - St. Vincent’s vs. Washington County, at Columbus; Dodge County vs. Savannah Country Day, at Calvary Day.
