Westfield 8, Brookstone 0, 5 inn.
            Madison Hammock’s solo homer sparked a six-run third that lifted the defending champs. The Hornets added two in the fourth on solo bombs from Cate Raines and Kendall Fowler. Camilla Bloodworth threw a no-hitter with no walks and eight strikeouts.

George Walton 8, Stratford 6
               Stratford tied it with five runs in the top of the fifth only for GW to take the lead in the bottom half and hold it in the seventh. Taylor Monroe went 3 for 3 for the Eagles.

John Milledge 8, Strong Rock 0, 5 inn.
            Jordan Prestridge drove in four runs, three on e a fourth-inning homer, on two hits to lead the Trojans. Ella Hudgins went 3 for 3 for JMA, with Ana Land and Ansley Brooks adding multi-hit games. Ashley Tyson threw a four-hitter, striking out three

Tattnall 9, Loganville Christian 1, 6 inn.
            Gradie Appling went 3 for 3, including a first-inning homer, with three RBI to lead the Trojans, who put seven across in their first at-bat. Brianna Logue and Reese Covington each had two hits for Tattnall, Caroline Patterson driving in two runs.

AA-SW Georgia 6, Brentwood 1
AA-Piedmont 8, Citizens Christian 0, 5 inn.
            The Cougars scored six in the third inning, sparked by Marissa Holder’s two-run homer and Memphis Sweat’s two-run double. Mackenzie Plunkett gave up one hit for the win.

6 p.m.
3A-Westfield 6, John Milledge 5
            Westfield scored two in the second and then matched John Milledge’s four-run fourth, surviving a run in the fifth and holding off the Trojans. Camilla Bloodworth went 5.1 innings for the win, striking out six with one walk. Emmy Dehem and Madison Hammock each had two hits for Westfield. Ana Land had three RBI for JMA, which matched Westfield’s seven hits.

3A-Tattnall 8, George Walton 0
            Callie Still’s two-run single was part of the big six-run fourth inning that pushed Tattnall into control. She threw a five-hit, four-strikeout walk-free shutout. Gradie Appling, Olivia Bridger, Anna Still, Reese Covington, and Isabelle Pecorilli each had two hits for the Trojans.
