          Trey Bonner of Jones County was the lone Central Georgian to play for the Panthers.

Defense, Peach County’s Alderman, bow up in win

          Peach County grad Tim Alderman came up with the game-saving sack on fourth and 15 inside the final two minutes, and had four tackles, and 1.5 tackles for loss. Houston County’s Caleb Thomas had seven stops and ex-Trojan Ethan Manns was sixth with six tackles, plus a TFL. Perry grad Cameron Johnson had three tackles, and Peach County’s Bryce McGuire two.

          Perry grad Jaylen Johnson had seven tackles and two for loss for Kentucky State while former Panther Brandon Wade had six tackles and two breakups.

 

GMC 39, ASA-Miami 0

          The 12th-ranked Bulldogs recorded their second shutout of the season with their third win.

          GMC is at home again in a week, hosting Lackawanna.
