Savannah, Macon, you know
A seven-run third put Savannah in control en route to an 8-2 win over visiting Macon.
That improved the Bananas to 10-1 against the Bacon this season, Savannah outscoring Macon 16-3 in the last two meetings.
Mason Minzey had two of Macon’s six hits. Both teams went through four pitchers.
Macon is at Forest City on Thursday and hosts Savannah on Friday, and then on Monday after trips to Florence and Lexington County.
