Savannah breaks Macon’s heart in 13
It was tied after nine, and then in the 11th, and then in the 12, but Savannah’s put two across in the 13th and Macon couldn’t answer in a 9-7 loss to the visiting Bananas.
Savannah scored two on two hits and an error in the top of the 13th, and Macon stranded two runners in the bottom half.
Grant Smith, Holden Breeze, and Mason Minzey each had two hits for Macon.
Macon hosts Catawba Valley on Saturday night.
