Signings

          Tattnall’s Grady Tisdale, the GHSA Class A state champ at 170 pounds, has signed to wrestle at Emmanuel.

          Southwest’s Donterrius Cone signed to play football at Methodist University.

          Two Central Fellowship basketball players recently signed, Gwyn Andrews with Truett McConnell and Ethan Elliott with Trinity Baptist.

          ACE’s Shelby Epperson signed with Bob Jones.

Henley improves in final round

          Russell Henley’s final round at Wells Fargo was his second best, and the Stratford alum finished tied for 41st with a 5-over 285.

          Henley shot 71 on Sunday, his third over-par round. He was 2-under on the front nine, but double-bogeyed 11 and had two more bogeys.

          After finishing under par in nine straight tournament, Henley is 12 over in three straight tournaments, including his first missed cut, last month at the RBC.
