Jackson Blakely struck out 15 with a walk in a first-game no-hitter, Upson-Lee stranding 10 on six hits and six walks, while striking out 10 times. The Knights were held to four hits and stranded nine in the nightcap.

Rhett Blount, Brayden Pines, and Donavan Sanford had two hits each for the Trojans, Blount and Hutson Traylor with three RBI apiece. Nathan Tidwell and Wyatt Waters teamed for a two-hitter in the clincher, boosted by Traylor’s three hits and five RBI.

The Indians were held to a hit in the opener. Dodge County’s five errors led to three unearned runs in the second game.

The War Eagles were held to two hits in the three-inning opener. They had five errors and one hit in the nightcap.

ACE trailed the opener the whole game until seven in the sixth. Cody Colter drove in four runs on two hits, and Gavin West had two hits. Grant Edwards fanned nine with a walk in the complete-game win. Eight in the fifth shortened the second game. JD Lewis drove in three runs in a balanced offensive game. Trevor Cannon and Lewis combined for 10 strikeouts and two walks in a four-hitter.

Four in the fifth put the Vikings in control. Blake Cohen had three hits, with two each from Coleman Cauley and Micah Henley. Hayes Bryant and Cauley teamed for a three-hitter. After a scoreless first, FPD scored in the next four innings to finish it in five. Cohen drove in seven runs with three hits: a single, double, and homer. Lucas Buckner and Bryant had two RBI each. Buckner and Garrett Veal combined for a seven-strikeout, one-walk three-hitter.
Tattnall 12, Savannah Country Day 0; Tattnall 9, Savannah Country Day 6
Benjamin Stubbs had two hits and went six innings with 10 strikeouts in a first-game three-hitter. Charlie Morris drove in five runs on two hits, and Russ Miller had three hits and three RBI. SCD cut Tattnall’s 8-2 lead to within two, but that was it. Stubbs ad DJ Willis and Gabe McGreggor each had two hits for the Trojans, McGreggor and Riley McCallum, and Clay Rowland with two RBI each.

The Hornets survived four errors and a late Southland rally in the opener. Ryan Powers and Will Johnson each had two hits, Powers with two RBI. The nightcap took only five innings, the Hornets led by three-hit games from Powers and James Hayes to go with Neal O’Brien’s 4-for-4 game and four RBI from Zane Childree.

Boys
Dalton Academy 2, GMC 1
Central Georgia’s last remaining soccer team, boys or girls, and two-time defending state champ lost on the road to a team in its first season of competition. Dalton scored three minutes into the game, and the Bulldogs’ Owen McCabe tied it 17 minutes later. Dalton went ahead with 11 minutes left.
