          A four-run fourth put the Gryphons in control. Gavin West went 3 for 4 for ACE with two runs, Ashton Donaldson and Cody Colter adding two-hit nights while Trevor Derrick drove in three runs. Grant Edwards struck out 13 with a walk in six innings.

Baldwin 8, Rutland 5

Benedictine 13, Dodge County 3

          Gage Pittman had two hits for the Indians.

Jeff Davis 11, East Laurens 1

Lake Oconee 8, Putnam County 6

          Gerald Kilgore wnet 3 for 4 with three RBI and two runs for the War Eagles, Chase Lupton adding three hits and an RBI.

Locust Grove 6, Jones County 4

          Austin May had two hits and three RBI for the Greyhounds while Dawson Harris added two hits.

Peach County 8, Central 4

          The Trojans led 6-0 after three. Jacob Harnist went 3 for 3, while Andrew Cliett and Cameron Griggs each had two hits for Peach County. Michael Kovitch and Aden New teamed for nine strikeouts and no walks.

Pike County 14, Mary Persons 0

          Pike County defended its region title with a surprising road romp. Eric Snow had three of the Bulldogs’ four hits.

Pinewood Christian 12, Westfield 1

          Pinewood ended it with seven in the fifth, holding the Hornets to a hit.

Savannah Christian 6, Tattnall 5

Strong Rock 5, Stratford 4

Upson-Lee 5, Crisp County 0

          Evan Helms drove in three runs on two hits, and Beau Ellington had two hits and two runs. Jackson Blakely whiffed 12 with a walk in a complete-game five-hitter.
