ACE 12 Covenant 2

The Gryphons broke a 2-2 tie after one with five, and rolled in 4.5 innings, helped by five Covenant errors. Trevor Derrick and Owen Cannon teamed for a shortened no-hitter, striking out six with a walk. Ashton Donaldson had two hits and four RBI for ACE.

Christian Black drove in four runs on two hits, with two and two from JJ Hines, and two hits and two runs from Tyler Saunders, plus two hits and three runs from Bryce Smith. Trey Woods belted a homer and had three RBI and three runs.

Perry 11, Howard 1

Two early four-run innings led the Panthers, who got two hits from Alex Scarborough and Price Massey, the pair teaming for five RBI.

Andrew Garnett had two hits and a homer for the Huskies.
