Howard 14, Rutland 6

          Seven errors led to 11 unearned runs, making it easy for Howard. Andrew Garnett whiffed 14 and walked two in 5.2 innings for Howard, to go with two hits. Trevor Grimes and Jerami Johnson had three hits each for the Huskies, Johnson driving in three runs and Grimes scoring three times. Jackson Grieser added two hits, three RBI and two runs.

Jasper County 4, GMC 2

          GMC pitchers struck out 10 batters with no walks, but Jasper County managed a little more offense. Chevy Sands, Myles Proctor, and Ethan Lynch had two hits each for the Hurricanes.

Jones County 16, Woodland 0

          Chase Milton led the Greyhound three-inning barrage with a 4-for-4 game, three runs and four RBI. Keagan Baxter had three hits and three runs, Dawson Harris two hits and Quin McManmon three RBI.

Putnam County 6, Banks County 5

          Banks County took the lead with two in the top of the seventh, but Putnam County walked it off with three in the bottom half. Jacob Grimes drove in Ashton Jones with a double, Drennan Vaughn came in on Chase Luptonā€™s infield single, and then Grimes scored the game-winner on a passed ball. Lupton and Grimes had two hits each for the War Eagles.

Strong Rock 5, Mount de Sales 3

Jared Diaz and Cayden Pugh had two hits each for the Cavaliers.

West Laurens 5, Bleckley County 2

          The Raiders clinched it with three in the sixth, holding on despite three errors. Camden Thomas had two hits, and Tucker Brown and Ian Anderson two RBI for West Laurens.

          Madison Johnson, Madison Cheek, and Zamani Williams each had two goals, Serenity Sparger and Emily Brown with one each.
