Warner Robins 63, Greenbrier 56
          The Demons turned a rout into a close game, watching a 19-point first-half lead and 16-point lead after three drop to six in the final minutes and then four in the final minute before the clock finally hit 0:00. Tori Davis led the Demonettes with 18 points while Jada Morgan added 16, sending Warner Robins (25-5) to its first Final Four since 1996.

Class 4A
Baldwin 57, Northwest Whitfield 46
          A serious leg injury late in the first half to Northwest Whitfield standout Emma Hayes put a pall over the game, and the atmosphere grew and stayed tense. No. 4 Baldwin (26-2) trailed 16-10 after one and 25-24 at halftime. The Bravettes eased ahead 45-42 after three and slowly gained a measure of control.

Class 3A
Pierce County 56, Central 34
          The Chargers end the season at 23-6 with the loss to seventh-ranked Pierce County.

Class A Public
Hancock Central 58, Montgomery 56
          The upstart and unranked Bulldogs wrecked the bracket for Montgomery County, ranked No. 1 and 2 in the state’s two main polls.

Taylor County 54, Dublin 42
          The host Vikings led 29-15 at halftime en route to improving to 23-4.

Class AA
Northeast 67, Vidalia 53
            The visiting No. 8 Raiders handed the No. 5 Indians their second loss of the year. Vidalia hadn’t lost since Nov. 30 when Tattnall County won 50-40 at home, and was held to less than 60 points for only the fourth time this season.

Baseball

ACE 18, Twiggs County 0
          A 10-run first led to a 2.5-inning game. The Cobras had nine errors, leading to 13 unearned runs, and walked seven.

Bleckley County 8, West Laurens 5
          The Royals put up three runs in the top of the seventh after the Raiders scored three in the bottom of the sixth. Carter Brannon had a two-run double for Bleckley County in the seventh.

Lamar County 16, Jackson 4
          The Trojans put up 13 runs in the third and fourth innings. Ayden Hollis led the way with three hits and two RBI, while Kale Bryan, Huston Traylor, and Brayden Pines had two hits and two RBI each, Talon Dender three RBI on one hit.

Locust Grove 15, FPD 6
          Jackson Moore, Colton McDonald, Blake Cohen, and Gavin Spillers each had two hits for the Vikings, Spillers with three RBI.

Mary Persons 9, McIntosh 8
          A run in the bottom of the sixth was the difference. Eric Snow had three hits, three runs, two homers, a triple, and four RBI at the leadoff spot, and Ryan Causey had three hits from the six hole.

Mount de Sales 10, Jasper County 4
          The Cavs got two-hit games from Bricen Smith, Drew Senn, and Elijah Freeman, four pitchers surviving nine walks and throwing a four-hitter.

Northside 3, Fitzgerald 2
          Gabe Turner’s fly to left brought in DJ Hudson with the winning run with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Peach County 6, Warner Robins 5
          The Trojans won it with three in the sixth, outhitting the Demons by six. Bryce Harrelson, Drew Bailey, Andre Cliett, and Alex Christian had two hits each for Peach County.

          Fatima El-Jeaid racked up another hat trick, with Aniston Dowdy starting the scoring off, with an assist from Kayla Kerce.
