It was 5-3 after one, and ACE just kept on scoring, in every inning. Noey Sardoma had three hits and JD Lewis two for ACE, Lewis and Jack Corrigan with two RBI and Trevor Derrick with three. Caleb Carr had two of Crawford County’s six hits.
FPD 2,Mount de Sales 1
Micah Henley opened the bottom of the seventh with a double to left and went to third on B.J. Hughes’ single to left, and came in with the game-winner on Hayes Bryant’s single to right. Henley had two of FPD’s four hits. MdS’ Bricen Smith and Jordan Green along with FPD’s William King, Garrett Veal and Coleman Cauley combined for 24 strikeouts and six walks, Green topping the group with nine strikeouts and no walks in 4.2 innings.
Houston County 11, Effingham County 1; Houston County 10, Effingham County 5
Drew Burress had him an opener with four hits – two doubles - and five RBI. Carson Small struck out five in four innings. The Bears scored five in the bottom of the sixth to break a tie, Gage Harrelson shutting the seventh-inning door in relief. Kai Decker had a two-run double to key the Bears’ sixth. Decker had two hits and three RBI, and Garrett Hortman two hits. Brooks Willis whiffed 10 in a four-inning start.
Howard 14, Baldwin 0; Howard 23, Baldwin 10
Lee Martin struck out 11 with two walks in a five-inning no-hitter, boosted by 11 hits. Kevin Thompson had three and Gavin Williams two, Andrew Garnett and Martin with three RBI each and Williams with two. Both teams had five errors in the nightcap, but Howard had more than four times as many hits, 18-4. Howard pitching walked 15 batters, to 11 for Baldwin. Garnett drove in six runs on three hits, including a homer, and Trevor Grimes had four RBI on three hits, Martin also with a three-hit game.
Jones County 5, Union Gove 4
The visitors got all five runs in the third and held on, aided by five errors and two unearned runs. Quin McManmon struck out 11 in a five-inning three-hitter, Bo Mansfield with four strikeouts in the save. Tucker Mix had two hits, with two RBI from Chase Milton and Austin May.
Mary Persons 13, Jackson 1
Eric Snow had another routine night: 4 for 4, four runs, two RBI, and another homer, from leadoff. Ryan Jenkins had two hits, two steals, and three RBI. Jake Grant whiffed six in a four-inning start.
Perry 16, Westside 1; Perry 16, Westside 0
A dozen runs in the first meant a short game was coming. Tyler Newhouse had three hits and three RBI, Ben McDow two and three. Brayden Long added two hits. The Seminoles managed a run despite being no-hit for three innings. Same story in the nightcap, in 2.5 innings, the Panthers needing only five hits, thanks to three errors, 11 walks, and three hit batters. Connor Griffin drove in four runs, with two each from Long and Newhouse.

The Trojans beat D-W for the third time this week to improve to 10-2.

The Knights needed only five hits, thanks to eight walks, 11 wild pitches, and a balk. Jake Taylor fanned 10 and allowed a hit. Jordan Wainwright went 4 for 4 for U-L.
