Henley picks up momentum at Phoenix
Russell Henley started the WM Phoenix at par, and has gone in the right direction since: down.
He shot a 3-under 68 Saturday to go 5 under for the tournament, jumping up to a tie for 36th. Henley had six birdies and three bogeys.
There are nearly two dozen players a stroke ahead.
Henley finished tied for 30th last year with a 10-under 274.
It was a wild spell when fans littered the grounds in joy after Sam Ryder’s hole in one, which didn’t rattle leader Sahith Theegala.
