Mercer softball players recovering from car accident
Two Mercer softball players were injured in a serious car accident Sunday morning in Minnesota.
Ashlyn Donner and Bailey Pattison were taken to different hospitals after the single-vehicle crash near Courtland, Minn. Around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
The car, driven by junior pitcher Donner, rolled over near an intersection of county roads near her hometown of New Ulm.
Donner was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System hospital before being airlifted to St. Mary’s in Rochester, Minn. Pattison, a senior pitcher from Florida, was taken to the New Ulm Medical Center.
