Madeline Richter, Whitley Anderson, Maike Austrup each had three goals for Houston County, along with Emily Grady, Mady Hughes, and Eryn Yarbrough.

B-Houston County 3, ACE 0 (Wednesday)
The Bears got goals from Padraig Littlefield, Manny Fernandez-Hernandez, and Thomas Bryant in the win over the defending Class A Public runner-up.

G-Bleckley County 8, Swainsboro 1
          Aniston Dowdy was all over the place for the Royals with six goals. Harlie Corner and Kayla  Kearse had a goal and assist each, with two assists from Mishayla Brown and one from Fatima El-Jeaid.

B-Bleckley County 9, Swainsboro 1
          Charlie Williams had the hot foot, with five goals for Bleckley County, Clay Thompson with two. Joshua Morris and Trent Crosby had goals as well.

G-Perry 9, Warner Robins 0
          The Panthers got two goals from Reaghan Reese, Maddy Horan, and Sadie Surber, and single goals from Isabella Molina, Fraser Knapek, and Arianna Marfell in the opener.

B-Perry 6, Warner Robins 0
          Tommy DeMicco and Harrington Arnette had two goals each for Perry, with one each from David Houghtaling and Robby Trent.

Around/About Central Georgia

Braves World Series trophy to make a visit

          The World Series trophy will leave its home in Atlanta for a regional tour starting in February.

          It will visit six cities in Georgia and one in North Carolina to get started, as part of a 151-stop tour, the 151 years of Braves baseball.

          The hardware is schedule for a trip to Macon on March 27 at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.

          The Braves are asking fans where else should the trophy visit here. More details are to come.
