Macon TD Club/Kirby Smart update

The date for Georgia head coach Kirby Smart’s visit as the speaker at the Macon Touchdown Club’s year-end jamboree has been changed.

The UGA compliance department determined that Smart couldn’t speak in February at banquet-type setting with student-athletes present, so he’ll be in town for the new date of March 21.

TD Club executive director Bryant Longshore confirmed the change earlier this week in an email to members.

It will be held at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth on Pierce Ave. Information regarding cost and the amount of tickets available to the public has yet to be finalized.
