Kennesaw State’s Bohannon to visit Macon TD Club

Kennesaw State head coach Brian Bohannon is Monday night’s speaker at the Macon Touchdown Club.

The program begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth on Pierce Ave. Cost is $30 for non-members.

Bohannon became head coach in March of 2013 to start the program at Kennesaw State, and he’s had the Owls winning ever since. KSU started out 48-15 his first five seasons, with two Big South titles, three playoff trips and four playoff wins will residing in the FCS top 10 regularly.

The Griffin grad played at and graduated from Georgia, and has a Master’s from West Georgia. He has coached at Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, Navy, West Georgia, and Gardner-Webb.

The Owls are 2-1, having beaten Southern Conference member Wofford 31-10 last Saturday, giving Bohannon his 30th non-conference win at KSU, and the Owls’ eighth straight regular-season road win.

Georgia State athletics director Charlie Cobb is next week’s speaker.
