          D-W scored two in the sixth to win, despite being outhit 4-2 and getting struck out 12 times by Eva Crader.

          The Huskies got more than enough with 10 in the first. Sydnee McElveen had three hits and four RBI, while Abby Hardy and Sydney Townsend each had two hits. Kayla Roberts drove in three runs for Howard (7-4/4-3, vs. Rutland Wednesday). Spalding hosts West Laurens on Thursday.

Peach County 16, Sumter County 4
          Sumter County’s defense had 10 errors and pitching gave up 10 walks, so the Trojans only needed four hits, surviving six errors of their own. Cierra Gibson had two hits for Peach County, which scored 14 unearned runs.

          The eight-run first was followed by 13 in the fifth, the Trojans banging out 22 hits. Kaitlyn Hallman had four hits, Hailey Daughtry three hits and four RBI. Tattnall got two-hit nights from Isabelle Pecorilli, Lindsey Paul, Martha Kate Gillis, and Molly Kemp, and three RBI from Pecorilli and Kaci Paul.

          Kendall Fowler and Marena Knowles each had a double and homer, Fowler with five RBI and two hits and Knowles with three hits and two RBI. Sydney Langdon and Madison Hammock also had two hits each, Langdon fanning 12 with two walks in the complete-game five-hitter. Ansley Brooks had two hits for the Trojans.
