Macon tops Lexington County in 10
Cam Scheler went to second to start the bottom of the 10th, and didn’t stay there long.
He went to third on Ashton Roy’s sacrifice bunt and kept on running, scoring the winning run on a throwing error on the play for a 5-4 win.
Macon scored four in the fourth for a 4-3 lead, Lexington County tying it in the fifth.
Cam Jones (Houston County) went 3 for 3 for Macon, which is at Lexington County on Saturday and hosts Savannah on Sunday.
