Ethan Hulsey had three hits and three runs at leadoff for the Royals, who got a two-hit, three-RBI night from J.R. Fordham. Caleb Senters had two hits and Willie Harris two RBI

The Eagles finished it in four, thanks to an eight-run second and six errors leading to seven unearned runs. Brennan Hudson had two hits and three runs, while Judd Puckett and Lucas McFadden drove in two runs each for Crawford County. Levi Hammock struck out six in the four-inning four-hitter.

Five errors led to five unearned runs in the first game. The Cavs stranded 11 runners in the nightcap on three hits, seven walks, and a hit batter.

Jackson Jones reached on a fielder’s choice, advanced to third on an error and scored on Blake Cohen’s single to left in the top of the 11th, and Coleman Cauley got a game-ending double-play after a pair of one-out singles. Hudson Mimbs and Chandler Cawley had two hits and Mimbs two RBI for FPD. Garrett Lang had two hits for the Eagles. The Vikings got what they needed in the sixth on Colton McDonald’s RBI double – FPD’s lone hit – followed by a passed ball and Barrett Barkley’s groundout to third. Barkley fanned eight with a walk and six hits on 84 pitches for the complete-game win. Waldon Davis had three hits and Garrett Lang two for the Eagles.

All the scoring came late, the Trojans getting three in the sixth for the difference, despite two fewer hits. Justyn Fields had two hits for Jasper County.

The Trojans led 3-1 after one, and started pulling away in the fifth. Drew Bailey drove in five runs on three hits, while Bryce Harrelson, Michael Kovitch, and Ashton Ennis added two hits each. Kovitch whiffed 11 in five innings, allowing a hit.

The Trojans’ offense was held to four hits and only five LOBs in the opener, while pitcher Bo Hatcher fanned 11 with three walks in a losing cause. A five-run third put Tattnall in control of the nightcap. Carter Fink struck out 10 in six innings, with a walk and three hits. Fink had a homer, and Hunter Alexander drove in four runs on two hits, and Benjamin Stubbs had three hits and two runs.

Jake Willis struck out six in three innings.
