          The hosts took control with a three-run third for a 6-2 lead, getting seven unearned runs on five errors by the visitors. Blake Smith had three of ACE’s eight hits and half of its RBI. Fisher Timms added two hits to go with his 11-strikeout, six-inning performance.

Coffee 3, Veterans 0; Coffee 9, Veterans 2

          Coffee survived three errors in the opener, aided by seven walks. Veterans’ Brent Robinson, Joseph Lashley, and Brennan Mercer teamed for 11 strikeouts and five walks in the nightcap six-hitter. But the Warhawks managed only three hits.

Jones County 12, Woodland 2

          The Greyhounds marched out to a 6-1 lead after two and cruised behind a three-hitter from Jacob Thompson and Bailey Taylor. Tucker Mix, Thompson, and Trent Hardy had two hits each for the Hounds, Thompson with three RBI.

Mary Persons 12, Americus Sumter 0; Mary Persons 14, Americus Sumter 1

          Thomas Willingham struck out 10 with no walks in a five-inning perfect game. Aric Mock went 4 for 4 with two RBI and two runs and Caden Swancey drove in four runs on three hits, including a homer. Eric Snow, Jake Gore, and Gage Hopper added two hits each, Hopper with two RBI. The nightcap was 11-0 after two innings, and it went five. Snow had three hits and three runs at leadoff, Swancey and Bankston and Willingham had two hits each, Bankston with three RBI, along with Hopper. Brooks fanned six in 4.2 innings.

Perry 16, Westside 0

          Wyatt Doyle and Holden Hagler teamed for a three-inning no-hitter, the Panthers racking up runs with only seven hits, thanks to 11 walks. Lane Rucker had two hits, and Alex Scarborough, Christian Fletcher, and Brayden Long with two RBI each to give head coach Denny Bryant his 100th win.
