Henley treads water at RBC Heritage
Russell Henley has been consistent this season, and is consistent this week.
Not that it’s currently helping him on the leaderboard.
Henley followed a 69 with a 70 at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, losing five spots to a tie for 40th with a 3-under 139.
The cut line was 2 under, so Henley was moderately safe. But he’s 13 shots behind co-Peach Stater Stewart Cink, who has a pair of 63s for a five-shot lead.
Henley had three birdies and two bogeys on Friday, after five birdies and three bogeys on Thursday. The only hole he has been other than par both days is No. 2, with a pair of birdies. He’s had a birdie on six holes and a bogey on five, all the bogeys on the front nine.
