Tuesday's Central Georgia Scoreboard

Bleckley County 15, Dodge County 0

          The host Royals took over the rivalry game with seven in the second, ending the game with six in the fourth. Brody Little struck out five and gave up three hits for the Royals, who scored five unearned runs. Eli Mullis went 3 for 3, with Ethan Hulsey and Matthew Bland adding two hits each, Bland with three RBI and Hulsey and Little with two each. Cole Cranford had two of the Indians’ three hits.

Brentwood 5, Thomas Jefferson 1

Crawford County 13, Wilkinson County 1

          Derontae Stewart went 3 for 3 with three runs at leadoff for Crawford County, which scored seven in the second. Brennan Hudson had four RBI, three runs, and two hits, while Judd Puckett had three RBI and Trace Hodges two. Blake Bishop was efficient in the five-inning three-hitter.

Fullington 10, Highland Christian 3

Gatewood 10, Briarwood 5

Glascock County 8, GMC 3

          Five in the sixth won it for Glascock County. Carson Knowles had two of the Bulldogs’ four hits.

Houston County 14, Veterans 3

          The Bears went up 8-0 after three and finally added six in the top of the sixth. Kaden Galason and Andrew Dunford had three hits and two runs for Houston County. Treyson Hughes and Chris Le had two RBI each. Four pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts against only two hits and three walks, eight Ks coming from starter Brodie Chestnutt in three innings.

Jasper County/Monticello 17, Southwest 0

          The Purple Hurricanes did everything in the first inning, which started with a hit batter and ended after 23 batters. Trent Maddox, Justyn Fields, Graeme Williams, and Cole Hays each had two hits, Hayes with three RBI and two from Maddox, Fields, Baylor Edge, and Williams. Myles Procter and Ethan Lynch combined for the three-inning one-hitter.

          A close game became a shortened game after Stratford’s seven-run fifth inning. Micak Takac and Stetson Hatcher had two hits apiece for the Eagles, with two-RBI games from Cooper Baskette and Jase Smith. Takac went all five and gave up three hits.

Tattnall 11, FPD 2

          The Vikings’ 1-0 lead after one was gone after the third and almost forgotten after the fourth, then down 6-1, thanks in part to six errors and four unearned runs. Carter Fink fanned nine with three walks and five hits for the complete-game win. Clay Rowland had two hits, and Fink and Camden Skinner two RBI for the Trojans.

Treutlen 12, Dublin 0

Upson-Lee 15, Central 0

          It was a game through three innings, the Knights leading 3-0. But Upson-Lee went for 12 runs in the next two innings to finish in five. Jake Willis went 4 for 4 with three doubles and five RBI. Logan Spivey added two hits, two runs and two RBI, and Austin Hendricks drove in two runs. Willis struck out 11 in the one-hitter.

Washington County 14, Lamar County 0

West Laurens 10, Fitzgerald 6

          The first five hitters in the West Laurens lineup – William Kellam, Colton Scott, Matthew Mebane, Tyler Franks, and Bradley Wilson - had two hits each, with six runs and three RBI. Tucker Brown added two hits from the bottom of the lineup as the Raiders got seven unearned runs with Fitzgerald’s five errors.

          Madelyn Davis had two goals and Emmie DeZoort one for the Vikings, DeZoort and Kendall Emener with assists.

          Gunner Heath had the hat trick and an assist, with Park Davis scoring and Carter Hays and Brady Garrison adding assists.
