The visiting Eagles trailed 24-19 at halftime, but held the hosts to two points in the third quarter to end the Golden Hawks season in the GHSA Class AA semifinals. Miracle Parker had 12 for Washington County (17-2).

The Trojans are in the GISA AAA boys finale against either Creekside Christian, an 89-68 winner over Cristo Rey Atlanta. The final is at 8:10 p.m. Saturday at Georgia Southwestern.

Six errors helped the Royals, who had only five hits. Matt Huff and Ethan Hulsey had two RBI each, and Conner Senters struck out five in 5.1 innings.
Crawford County 15, Twiggs County 0
The Eagles scored 10 in the first inning of the three-inning game. Brennan Hudson had two hits, two runs, and two RBI for Crawford County, striking out five in three one-hit innings.
Houston County 5, Campbell 4
The Bears withstood a pair of one-run innings late. Drew Burress, Coleman Willis and Christian Davis had two hits each for the Bears, Burress driving in two. Brodie Chestnutt sat down 12 batters in 6.2 innings against one walk and six hits, Gage Harrelson with the save.
Mount de Sales 4, Deerfield-Windsor 3
A walk-off walk to Fernando Washington gave the Cavs the win behind five-inning shutout pitching from Elijah Freeman. Bricen Smith doubled, and scored after singles by Jared Diaz and Cason Craig to tie it. Freeman’s bases-loaded walk brought in Diaz. Smith had three hits, with two each from Diaz and Parthiv Patel. Freeman fanned six in five innings of relief work for the win.
Northside 7, Howard 1
Six Howard (2-4) errors made it easier for the 3-7 Eagles, who scored four in the first. Cam Staten, Hunter Johnson, and Drew Rice (four RBI) led Northside. Rice, Andrew Neinisch, and Staten handled the mound work for Northside.
Peach County 7, Warner Robins 5
The Demons scored five in the sixth to tie it, but the Trojans answered with two in the bottom half on a hit batter, three walks, and a groundout. Colter Ginn had two hits for the Trojans.
Perry 5, Jones County 0
The 7-2 Panthers clinched it with three in the fifth. Garrett Davis had two of Perry’s four hits. Four of the Panthers’ runs were unearned. Jonah Wynn and Cooper Edwards combined for a three-hitter, with nine strikeouts.
Stratford 1, FPD 0
Barrett Barkley struck out 12 with a walk and three hits, but three errors led to the lone run of the game, unearned, in the third for Stratford. An error, sacrifice, and single led to the game-winning run. Lawson Cole threw a two-hitter for the Eagles.
Tattnall 9, Strong Rock 1
A pair of four-running innings lifted the Trojans, who got two-hit games from Clay Rowland and Hunter Alexander, who had two RBI. Bo Hatcher fanned eight in the complete-game win.
Mary Persons 9, Veterans 8; Veterans 13, Mary Persons 3
Caden Swancey’s two-out line-drive single to center brought in Eric Snow with the lead run in the top of the seventh, and then Ryan Jenkins and Ian Lewis battled through two walks to finish off the bottom of the seventh. Snow had three hits and Brooks two, with two RBI from Thomas Willingham, Swancey, and Jaden Bankston. Jarrett Pierce and Tanner O’Neal had two RBI for Veterans. The hosts put the nightcap away with five in the fifth. Mark Lauritsen drove in four runs on two hits, both doubles, while scoring three times. Clifford Pless had two hits and three runs, Carter King two and two. Al Lorenzo had two RBI. Eric Snow had two of Mary Persons’ three hits. Blake Ethridge got the win in three starting innings, Ty Tyson striking out four in three innings of relief.
West Laurens 7, Upson-Lee 2; West Laurens 9, Upson-Lee 3
A three-run fifth put the Raiders in charge. They got two-hit games from William Kellam, Colton Scott (three RBI), Tyler Franks, and Bradley Wilson (two RBI). Franks and Gavin White teamed for a four-hitter. Five runs in the first two innings paced West Laurens in the nightcap. Scott had three hits and three runs for the Raiders, Kellam, Mathew Mebane, and Gunner Jeffers with two hits each and Wilson two RBI. Jordan Wainright had two of the Knights’ six his.
