Tuesday's Central Georgia Scoreboard

Bleckley County 16, Lamar County 1; Bleckley County 9, Lamar County 1

            A nine-run first got the Royals going in the opener, and Eli Mullis’ grand slam highlighted a five-run third. Ethan Hulsey, Mullis, and Conner Senters had two hits each, Willie Harris and Matt Harris adding three RBI. Senters threw an efficient three-inning four-hitter. A 3-1 game became a rout with Bleckley County’s six in the sixth. Matthew bland, J.R. Fordham, and Mullis had two hits each, Mullis driving in three runs. Fordham fanned eight in six innings of one-hit pitching.

 Crawford County 23, Twiggs County 0

            The Eagles took care of things in the first two innings of the 2.5-inning game that included 10 Cobra errors and 18 unearned runs. Blake Bishop struck out six and allowed no hits in three innings for Crawford County. Judd Puckett and Kenneth Taylor had two hits each and Trace Hodges had a grand slam.

Dodge County 9, Jasper County 4

            The Indians scored six in the third and watched the Hurricanes score four in the seventh. The teams combined for nine errors. O’Connor and Marchant had two hits each for Dodge County. Mac Barton had two hits for Jasper County.

GMC 8, Wilkinson County 7

            GMC survived five errors, and countered Wilkinson County’s three runs in the top of the sixth with two in the bottom half. Christian Black had two hits for GMC.

Mary Persons 2, Upson-Lee 1, 10 inn.

            Thomas Brooks singled to open the bottom of the 10th, advanced on a grounder, and courtesy runner Michael Head came in with the game-winning run on Jake Gore’s single to left. Jaden Bankston struck out nine with two hits in seven innings, and Eric Snow fanned four in three innings of relief. Bankston and Gore had two hits each for the Bulldogs. Jake Willis struck out 10 with a walk in seven innings for the Knights.

Peach County 9, Jackson 3

            The Trojans used small-ball to win, getting two RBI from Colter Ginn and Bryce Harrelson.

Putnam County 7, Westside-Augusta 3

Starr’s Mill 7, Houston County 3

            All the scoring came late, Starr’s Mill with four in the fifth and three in the sixth, Houston County finally grabbing three in the bottom of the sixth. Andrew Dunford had two of the Bears’ seven hits.

Tattnall 5, Mount de Sales 2; Tattnall 11, Mount de Sales 3

            The Trojans didn’t trail in the tight first game. Gabe McGreggor had two of Tattnall’s four hits, and Fernando Washington two of MdS’ five. The Trojans went with three pitchers, the Cavs one. Carter Fink went 4 for 4 in the nightcap, Camden Skinner adding three hits. Clay Rowland, Hunter Alexander, and McGreggor had two hits each, Rowland with three RBI and Alexander with two. Fink and Rowland combined for nine strikeouts and six hits on the mound. Carson Craig had two hits for the Cavs.

Warner Robins 17, Northside 8

The teams combined for nine errors, but the Demons double up the hosts with 12 hits. Chaz Sturn, Cameron Burks, Cooper Avery, Cameron Beck, and Isaiah Canion had two hits each, Avery and Beck with three RBI each. Gabe Bautista had two hits and three RBI for the Eagles.
