Bleckley County 4, Swainsboro 2

          Two in the fourth broke a 2-2 tie, the Royals tripling up Swainsboro in hits. Conner Senters had two hits and Brody Little two RBI for Bleckley County, which got five strikeouts in five innings from Eli Mullis.

Howard 4, Rutland 0

          The Huskies won the small-ball battle with three more hits and a 14-strikeout performance from Landon Daniels, on 104 pitches with a walk and four hits. Losing pitcher Casey Summerday fanned eight with two walks, allowing two earned runs.

Locust Grove 3, Jones County 1

          Locust Grove won it with two in the fifth. Tucker Mix had half of the Greyhounds’ four hits, Jones County’s Landon Califf, Bailey Taylor, and Dawson Harris teaming for a two-hitter in the loss.

Perry 5, Baldwin 0

          Jonah Wynn and Carson Bryant teamed for 14 strikeouts – nine from Bryant in four innings and 58 pitches – and two walks in the one-hitter. Tristen Freis had three hits for the Panthers.
