Tuesday's Central Georgia Scoreboard

Teams are advised to update their MaxPreps schedules as games are cancelled or postponed. Also, update rosters with proper numbers and accurately spelled names.

ACE 9, Wilkinson County 5

          The Warriors put up a fight, down 7-0 after four, with three runs in the fifth only for the Gryphons to ease away, aided by five errors and two unearned runs. Brayden Nesmith struck out 12 with two walks in 6.1 innings. Lem Thompson had three hits and two runs at leadoff, just ahead of JD Lewis’ two hits. Fisher Timms had three hits and two runs from the seventh spot, and Sam Whitley had two hits.

FPD 10, Mount de Sales 0

          Five in the second were more than enough for the Vikings, led by a two-hit, three RBI night from Blake Cohen. Hudson Mimbs and Coleman Cauley added two hits each, Cauley and Barrett Barkley with two RBI each.

Perry 13, Northside 2

          The Panthers rolls, with three-hit games from Tanner Knowles (five RBI, three runs) and Tyler Newhouse, and two-hit games from Tristen Freis and Lane Rucker (two RBI).

Strong Rock 5, Stratford 2

          The visitors tied it in the third, took the lead in the fourth and held it, thanks in part to four Stratford errors that helped lead to three earned runs. Micah Takac was solid on the mound for the Eagles with six strikeouts and no walks in a 6.1-inning five-hit loss. The Eagles – whose seven errors led to seven unearned runs - got their runs and hits in the first inning, and nothing after that.

Tattnall 8, Deerfield-Windsor 0

          The Trojans led 4-0 after three and put it away with four in the sixth. Clay Rowland and Bo Hatcher had two hits each for Tattnall, Hunter Alexander driving in two runs. Bo Batcher sat down 11 batters with a walk and two hits in six inning, Gabe McGreggor finishing it off in the seventh. The second game was rained out and will now be part of a DH in Albany on March 17

Tiftarea 9, Dodge County 2

          The Indians face Tattnall on Saturday.
